Communications from the Village – “Your Way”
The Village of Tequesta uses the communications service - Nixle to communicate important information to our residents.

Nixle will allow us to send important, valuable community information directly to residents using this latest technology. The Village prides itself on its approach in communicating with our residents and we have diligently worked to stay abreast of technological advances and social media trends. With the safety of our residents always being a priority, staff reassessed our communication software and implemented this new all-in-one approach for distribution of mass alerts. Subscribers will be able to choose the way in which alerts are received, whether it is by email, text message, landlines or over the web.
Nixle is currently in the process of obtaining the necessary landline numbers for all residents thereby allowing us to contact our citizens via their home phones. Messages may include parks and recreation events, meeting notices, Smoke Signals as well as other relevant emergency, safety and community event information.

Village residents can receive updates via text message and email – and even landlines if they self input their home number.

For more information, contact Lori McWilliams, MMC, Village Clerk/PIO at 561-768-0443.

In the event of an emergency, alerts will be posted at the top of each Village webpage. If you see a RED blinking circle like the one to the right, there is an important notification.
